Drama and Dance in the Primary Classroom

Course Content:
Drama: Exploring and making drama, reflecting on drama, co-operating and communicating in making drama. Showing teachers, through example, how to successfully build a drama lesson.
Dance: To enable teachers to develop their own body awareness and movement in order that they use this to inform and improve their dance teaching
To enhance teachers ability to teach creative dance lessons through the Laban methodology of dance instruction
To give teachers a repertoire of traditional dances to teach to children
